THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
Sojourn Co-op is located at Nelson and Denman street in the WestEnd Neighbourhood of Vancouver. Both English Bay beach and Stanley Park are within walking distance. Although there is no direct access to the Skytrain, there are three bus lines that run within easy walking distance of the Co-op: Bus 5 (which takes you to Burrard Skytrain Station in about 25 minutes), Bus 6, and Bus 23. There are also several MODO car-share in the area, making transportation easy and affordable. The neighbourhood has every necessity within easy walking distance: restaurants, bars, banking, library, community centre, public pool (2nd beach), playgrounds, liquor, convenience stores and more.

FOOD & AMENITIES
The Co-op is located in front of the Denman Place Mall, which houses a NoFrills Grocery store, Shoppers Drugmart, Dollorama and Canada Post. The WestEnd Community Center is a block away and houses the Joe Fortes Branch of the Vancouver Public Library, an indoor arena, and a pre-school childcare centre. We are also within easy walking distance of Gordon Neighbourhood House. Robson street is a 5 minutes walk, and has a Safeway, BC Liquor Store & Whole Foods grocery store. Denman street offers lots of different restaurants and small, mostly tourist orientated stores. In the summer months, the closest farmer’s market is a 15 minutes walk at Comox & Thurlow.
